FAQs
Q: What conditions do you treat?
A: ANY/ALL health issues. We serve patients of Maine and New Hampshire of all ages in all phases of health and illness.
Q: How long is the appointment?
A: In order to keep cost as low as possible it is brief call (typically under 20 minutes). We find this format to be helpful in avoiding INFORMATION OVERLOAD! Focusing on one or two recommendations can mean greater heath successes to build upon!
Q: Do you prescribe prescription medications?
A: We can, and rarely, yes, we do. We have a small list of prescriptions that we occasionally do prescribe. But we focus first on natural treatment options before resorting to prescription medications. Typically, there is great improvement (or complete resolution!) of symptoms/health before resorting to Rx meds. There are many websites where you can get prescription meds online (for around the same price as a Sage Well appointment), so if you are scheduling with Sage Well we would prefer you are curious about NATURAL methods as the first course of action; it is our area of expertise and passion!
Q: Do you only offer telemedicine (telephone appointments)?
A: For the initial appointment (and typically) yes, but you can discuss in-person options (including equine therapy) at subsequent appointments.
Q: How do I get my Maine Medical Marijuana certification?
A: The process is simple. Send a picture of the front of your Maine state ID or DL to 207-200-1664 or to info@sagewellnaturalmed.com. Evelyn will call you ASAP to get you certified/recertified. Your digital copy will be sent to you and you can purchase right away. The hard copy will be mailed to you.
Q: Can I get a New Hampshire Therapeutic Cannabis certification here?
A: Yes. While we are located in Springvale, Maine, we are proud to serve our neighbors in New Hampshire. Please note that per New Hampshire state regulations, all initial certifications require an in-person evaluation at our Springvale office. Subsequent renewals may be eligible for telephone consultations.
Q: What are the benefits of a Medical Card if cannabis is already legal?
A: A medical certification offers several professional and clinical advantages:
Lower Costs: Medical patients pay significantly lower taxes than recreational purchasers.
Higher Quality: Access to reputable, local dispensaries focused on high-quality plant medicine.
Privacy & Protection: Medical certifications may provide additional legal and HIPAA privacy protections.
Stronger Products: Certain high-potency medicinal products are reserved exclusively for cardholders.
